From an early age I´ve always imagined my life and my future surrounded by animals. Ever since I used to pick up wounded birds on the street and take them home one could argue that my path was chosen. Later on, becoming a vet was the most natural choice. Being a vet allows me to combine two of my passions: animals and medicine. It allows me to have the best of both worlds and pleases both the science girl and the animal lover in me.

I graduated from Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (Portugal) in 2020 and started working in a veterinary hospital in the same year. I was face to face with reality in a way that I hadn’t been before and it was great. I was sure I had chosen the right profession and I loved the fast paced environment.

Three years later, still working at the same hospital but with a lot more stories to tell, I saw the job ad for TaipaVet. I didn't think twice and answered it immediately. It was and has been a once in a lifetime opportunity not only in the career aspect but also for my personal life.
Suddenly I was risking a few more things out of my bucket list while still doing what I love.

I sincerely hope to keep growing with the help of the amazing team at TaipaVet. And I’m looking forward to the next years.
