I have worked at TaipaVet Veterinary Clinic since September of 2014. Born in Lisbon, Portugal and raised in Macau, I am animal lover through and through.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had animals in my life; whether it was my rescue squirrel Sciuro from when I was 21, or my pet tarantula Morgana from when I was 19.

So it was an easy decision for me when head vet Dr. Alexandra Ascenso asked me to join the TaipaVet team as a veterinary assistant. I have since seen the clinic flourish from having less than 100 clients to now having thousands.

Working at TaipaVet, which is like a second home to me really, I have loved the fast-paced environment of being an assistant and the variety of tasks that must be performed with each patient; such as blood drawing, surgery assisting, or good old fashioned enemas. I enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of not only the animals but their owners.

This is why I created my company All Pets Allowed, initially offering much needed transportation services for pet owners in Macau but now offering everything from transportation to mountain walks to a doggie day-care centre and its exciting activities.
