Useful information:

• Surgery procedures requires anesthesia and are performed from Monday to Friday, except emergency surgeries that are done immediately.
  
  
• In order to provide a safer anesthesia, we recommend pre-anesthesia blood tests to rule out any pre-existing conditions.The blood work can be performed on the same day of the procedure, there will be no need for a separate appointment.
  
  
• Patients should not be fed (food and water) at least 8h prior to the surgery, even small amounts of food and water left on the stomach will make the animal vomit while under anesthesia, leading the animal to aspirate the content to the respiratory tract causing aspirate pneumonia.
  
  
• Patients can be picked up between 4.30 pm – 6.30 pm the day of the surgery unless otherwise specified.
