Vaccinations & Deworming

Some viral and bacterial diseases can be debilitating or even life threatening, compromising the health of your animal as well as the others surrounding.
Some diseases, like rabies, can affect several species including humans. We call it zoonotic diseases.
Through vaccination we can achieve a good immunization and prevent a specific disease and its spreading minimizing the likelihood of infectious disease outbreaks.

Vaccines can be divided into core, non-core and not recommended.

Core vaccines are the vaccines which ALL dogs and cats, regardless of circumstances or geographical location, should receive. Core vaccines protect animals from severe, life-threatening diseases that have global distribution.

Core vaccines for dogs

Core vaccines for cats

Non-core vaccines are those that are required by only those animals whose geographical location, local environment of lifestyle places them at risk of contracting specific infections.

Non-core vaccines for dogs

Non-core vaccine for cats

Not recommended vaccines are vaccines where there is insufficient scientific evidence to justify their use.

Deworm

Companion animals play an important role in our lives and are often considered to be members of the family. This direct contact between humans and animals carries an inherent risk of parasitic transmissions.
Periodically deworming prevents parasites to cause diseases to your animal and the transmission to humans.

We divide deworming in internal and external.

Internal Deworm

External Deworm

Did you know that some of the external parasites can carry inside pathogens that can cause life threatening diseases?

Like ticks that can transmit Babesia gibsoni and other agents responsible for tick diseases or fleas that can carry tape worms eggs?
